The bank placed a garnishment at the time on one of my bank account recently. I entered into an agreement to pay the debt by signing for the bank to release funds to the law firm as well as agreed to monthly payment. However, Since I have a checking account at another bank I just found out today that they placed a garnishment on that account as well. My question is if we agreed to terms based on my first account and made payment what rights do I have so that they cannot attach funds in my other checking account. Also, isn't that kind of low of them to make an agreement and go after other money which I need to survive.

Thanks

They don't care how they get it, or who they get it from or how many lives they have to ruin to make it happen. Sound unfair, sure is. Did you actually know there is a school for collection agents. They all have the same spiel and they learn how to play down and dirty.
