My cat has an eye that is blood shot. This is the second time. The first time it went away in a day but this time I have tried a solution of boric and water and then some antibiotics I had for when my other cat had an eye infection.

The two cats do not get along and so they are kept separate from each other at all times. My husband called the vet and they are not sure what is wrong.

Anyone have any idea as to what is happening.

Took her to the vet. Seems like we went through this a couple of weeks ago with the dog. Any she is doing fine however, he eye looked terrible but is starting to clear up. According to the vet she has trauma to the eye. In other words it is something she is doing like running into something. It only cost $93.00 to find out the darn cat needs to be confined so that she doesn't injure herself again. Expensive little lesson.
