I am trying to help a friend with his a/c... a lennox air handler ecb18.
It would not heat. Fan comes on...
Believe the sequencers are bad... they fell apart anyway so now they must be replaced.
First. How do they work?
Can a block type sequencer be used? I feel that all I need is the correct function.
3 heating elements I could use an understandable wiring diagram.

Replace the sequencers with the same part number to prevent confusion. There should be a wiring diagram on the inside of the blower door or in the install directions that came with the unit all of these diagrams are for a professional but can be read by most people, It is the only real diagram for your furnace and there are differences in wiring for different models and brands.
There are many different kinds of sequencers and they all have a specific function. Time delay in seconds and fan control on most models. If you do not know what you are doing call a professional.

This 1985 Lonnox Electric furnace did not have a wiring digram displayed. It must have been torn off. Just need to know how kook up the sequencers. I know the Honeywell R24CB4007, the bottom is the 24 vac from the theromostat control, But not shure which stept up is for blower and the heater coils stages . Also some one the pass has been messing with this furnace and it is now not working.
