I want to figure out weather I should file as a non-resident or a resident.

I came to the usa on August 2005 from lebanon on F1 student visa
I started working under F1/opt from jan 2007
I started working on H1B in October 2007
I started my green card process (I-140 I485) in July 2007

Do I apply as a resident or nonresident alien?
How much deductable can I claim(standard... )?

You should file as a non-resident alien, filing Form 140NR-EZ and Form 8843.
