Hi There!
We have a house that's probably 80% complete, with a 4" septic drain exiting the home on the front poured foundation wall. We now (for reasons i'd be happy to explain if you have an hour or two :P ) want the septic to either go out the side or the back of the house.
Based on the height of the point where the drain is leaving the basement (about 3' up from the floor...not sure why), it looks like we could run a few 90's and about 25' of 4" pipe to get it out the side of the house. To get it out the back, it looks like we would actually have to re-run most of the PVC drains to ell to the rear instead of the front. The former seems like a $300-400 job at the risk of reduced septic flow. The latter I'm guessing is a $1500+ job but would probably have fewer issues over the years.
Any suggestions with just this much info? Would any more/different info be helpful?
Thanks!!
