My husband (who is in the military) and I moved into an apartment complex a year ago. When we moved in, right from the start, the upstairs neighbors started playing with their dogs all hours of the night hard enough to where our windows would shake like if there was an earthquake. To summarize, the young married couple upstairs (who's husband is also in the military but assuming he's 2 or 3 ranks under my husband) have a big dog and they play with him upstairs instead of outside. I got fed up one day when I was 5 months pregnant and yelled at them to turn down their partying one night, the husband told us to move out. They and my husband and I both complained on each other to the property management and my husband said that the managers said not to go up and tell them anymore
When they are outside with the dog, they're almost right in front of our door to where we have to say excuse me to get to our car or just outside.
This annoyance has lasted throughout our lease. We are re-newing our lease and it's happening once again. Our 6 month old baby had the ear infection and croop cough this past weekend and we heard stomping real hard upstairs. Also around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, the couple brought a friend of theirs upstairs and let both of their dogs run around and well, you know what it sounds and looks like when dogs are horseplaying.
My husband slammed our door but they didn't pay any mind.
We told the manager again (one year later) and its happening again tonight. I know they are doing it on purpose.
What do my husband and I do?
Lost for words,
