My father died and was primary cardholder of a credit card. My mother was an authorized user on the account. Can she legally continue to use the credit card as long as she continues to make payments? Can she call company and move herself into position as primary cardholder? She's mostly wondering about all the points that my father had accumulated and if she can have them transferred into her name. Thanks.

If the primary cardholder is deceased and you do not notify the company, it may be termed fraud. Because, your using the card with the acceptance of the primary cardholder, Now, can you still use the card? I guess you have to decide where your moral compass lies. This is what I would do;
1. Notify all creditors.
2. Notify all credit reporting agencies and close all accounts, if warranted.
3. Try to get your own cards, legally.:) You will sleep much better.
