My electric furnace will not shut off. I switched the thermostat with a known good one with no positive results. Where do I go from here?

If you take the red wire loose in the thermostat and it still runs, its time to call a repairman because with an electric furnace you need to know how to use a multimeter and touble shoot the control system, it may be a stuck relay. Good luck, Mike
