Durabrand is a chain of different manufacturers and I read reviews about their products and they weren't that great , Durabrand is chained with many different companies so it makes it difficult to contact them... Just a suggestion there are more durable irons out there, that you can purchase... try sallybeauty.com | Sally Beauty Supply (http://www.sallybeauty.com), I currently use the CHI Iron and it is awesome...
