I have a Rhodesian/Lab he's 13 months. I did the mistake mixing some table food with his dry food. Now he won't touch anything regardless of what I put in front of him. He snubs it. He's not lethargic, he's very active, his bowels are normal, he drinks plenty. How do correct this? Or should he see a vet for a hidden problem that I'm not aware of? Thanks for you help!

How long has he not eaten. If it has been more than a couple days a vet check is always a good idea. I am not a fan of table scraps as I do not want to encourage any begging habits. Usually if you do not give in to feeding more table food they will eat the dog food when they are hungry.

I take a couple of pieces of my dogs food and pretend I am eating it along with my meal. I tell him to sit, paw.. and give him his own dog food. He eats it not knowing its his own food. Also, you can show him a piece of human food and put a little piece under his food in his bowl. He would have to eat his food to get the treat at the bottom.
