I am planning to remove a small 24" sink and replace with a 36",now I am not offsetting the bowl to line up with the existing plumbing.what mods would need to be done if any to the hard plumbing to achieve this or can I just use different pipe connectors and elbows from the new sink to the existing wall plumbing.thanks.

Hey Ncts12... tell me, are the pipes plastic or metal?

The supply line is braided which I know I can get longer ones, the drain is plastic, even behind the wall.

Cool... then plastic it is... super easy to work with plastic.
Install the sink and the new strainer (or disposal) and then take a list of basic fittings you think you will need to nearest home supply store... bring a pic. With you if possible... they should be able to help you get the right fittings... OR you can post a picture here (under "go advanced") and we can tell you how we would pipe it.
Also note that you are right... just get longer braided hoses for water... just make sure you get the right ends for your pipes.
Let us know if we can help.

Remember to get 22 1/2 degree elbows. They will help immensely with alignment.
