My CPU overheated on Dell B120 actually melted the little cover over the heat sink. I found where the fan blows air through the sink was blocked with fuzz. Now the problem is the computer is dead now no lights no sounds. P/S putting out 19v measuring at plug back inside laptop the voltage is 3v. Due you thinkthe board is fried and drawing the P/S down. I've removed cpu, hard drive and still get no signs of life Any suggestions would be appreciated THANKShttps://www.askmehelpdesk.com/images/icons/icon8.gif

Hello,
It appears you found the cause of the overheating (eg, dust contamination); however, an overheat to that extent (where it melts something else) is a sign that other components are possibly damaged as well. However, You won't really know if that is true until you replace the visibly damaged components and test again. With that said, here is a link to the Dell documentation for your PC. Now, somewhere in that documentation is a pinnout of all your power supply connectors for your reference (that seems to be where you are focusing at the moment): Documentation (http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/ins1300/en/index.htm)
