I just renewed a 6 month lease on my house. The property manager called 3 days later and tells us that the owner wants to make some changes and raise the rent. They will not tell us why. I asked for this in writing, they never sent it and called today with a threatening phone call saying they were going to break my lease and we would have to move out. I asked what reason they were going to break the lease and they said that "they would pick something". They said they would be coming to inspect in 2 days. We have had not issues until now, the property is maintained very well by myself. Can they raise the rent for no reason, and what reasons can the propery manager break the lease?

They can't break the lease for no reason. They can't increase the rent for no reason if there is a valid written lease in effect.

If they still want you out, there are 2 options: (1) you can agree to end the lease and move out in return for them paying you a specific amount of money, such as 2 or 3 months of rent; or (2) you can do nothing and let them try to evict you. If they try to evict you they will have to explain to a judge why they're doing so. As long as you haven't violated any of the lease terms they won't be able to do that.

Edited to add: You may want to think about looking for a new place to live anyway. Since they don't appear to have any legal right to end your lease they may just make your lives miserable until the end of the lease term. You might be better off working something out ($$) with them and finding a new place.

They can not increase the rent, and they can't break it, without a real reason.

If they want you out, they can buy out your lease.

Is it possible that the landlord didn't sign the renewal. It's up to both of you - not just you.
