If you can shoot well some of the time, then you already have an understanding of the technique. Now, you have to train yourself to use that same technique on every shot... and the only way to do that is practice, practice, and more practice. In fact, that hard practicing will develop your shot to the point where it becomes second nature and you won't even have to think about it anymore!

Assuming your talking about basketball then simply practise. You may not feel like it but believe me it works. You should shoot around for about thirty minutes a day or shoot around two hundred to three hundred shots a day(It is easier than it sounds). I am living proof that this works; a couple of years ago I never made a jumper in a basketball game. So during the summer I shot around everyday and by winter I had the best jump shot in my league.
