When I was little, I used to love these dogs on TV. Now I can't remember what they're called! They were brown dogs with long ears. They also had human hands, wore clothes and walked on 2 feet instead of 4. I'm pretty sure they appeared on Sesame Street a few times. They were real dogs and had human sized bodies and could talk. I specifically remember my brother having a video of them singing Nursery Rhymes and one was dressed as mother goose. This is really driving me crazy! Please Help!!

Sesame Street is still on, I think, do you think you could watch and maybe find out what you need to know ?

The artist: William Wegman. His dogs, originally Man Ray, and now Fay Ray and Battina, are just a small portion of the art he's been involved with for years. The breed is Weimaraner. His website is at Wegman (http://www.wegmanworld.com/) but most of it has nothing to do with the dogs. An old Sesame Street clip: YouTube - Sesame Street - Rub-a-dub dub (William Wegman's Weimaraners) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_IFN4lh59Y&feature=related). Thanks :) I had the same problem and it was driving me nuts too -- your post kept me sane enough to keep searching the internet. "live dogs on Sesame Street" was the search that finally found it :D.
