Hi, I am new to the forum, can anyone help me out here. My details are -

1)Landed in USA on L1 Visa on Nov 16, 2007 and have been living in NJ since.
2)I am Single with no dependent, Never been to USA before.
3)My Gross Pay (combined for Nov & Dec 2007) here was $8547 (including some settling allowances)
4)My employer has withheld taxes for Nov and Dec as follows (Social Sec=$522, Federal=$1291, NJ State=$226, Medical=$122,SUI/SDI=$80)
5) I have no other form of employment & source of income.

Now the question is = How much have I overpaid? And which form should I use to file for taxes? Help me. Thank you friends in advance.

Your refund for the IRS is $808.

You must file Form 1040NR-EZ and claim your personal exemption of $3,400 plus the itemized deductions of your NJ state tax and SUI/SDI withheld of $306.

You also need to file the NJ return as a part-year resident.
