I am having a lot of trouble solving this problem. Could you please help me?

A swimming pool 6 m wide and 10 m long is to be surrounded by a walk of uniform width. The area of the walk happens to equal the are of the pool. What is the width of the walk?

The area of the pool is 60 square meters. The walk is the same. So, between them both they have an area of 120 square meters.

So, draw you have (6+2x)(10+2x)=120

Solve for x.
