Hello HVAC folks,
My home is heated with forced hot water. It's an oil-fired boiler with 2 zones (1 per floor) & circulating pumps (plus a 3rd for the hot water heater). The 1st floor circuit basically makes one loop (single 3/4" pipe) around the perimeter of the house with baseboard radiators in each room, including the kitchen.
I'm planning a kitchen remodel now, and it looks as though I may want to put cabinets where the baseboard radiator is now. If I install one or more of these (http://www.beacon-morris.com/html/kickspace_heat_twin_flo.asp) (or similar) under the cabinets, how would one add them to the existing system? I assume they can't just replace the baseboard in the loop, as the diameter of pipe is quite a bit smaller.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers!
