Living in Louisiana. Spouse and I are preparing for an "uncontested" divorce.
We have 1 (one) minor child. We have agreed and both looked at supprt calculators for the state, and they pose questions about each others incomes etc... However, we are unsure about questions asking about non-custodial costs of daycare and health insurance.

Is childcare and health insurance taken into cosideration when figuring a support amount -- if the non custodial parent is paying health insurance and childcare of a previous child that the -non custodial parent has custody of (but is not the child in question here)..

Basically the two sections that ask for the non custodial parent to enter amount for childcare and helath insurance -- IF the non custodial parent is paying these - Just not for the specific child at hand -- do we add the amount there or leave it 0... IS Asking for an amount to be entered there propriatory to this one child in question or in general if the non custodial parent is paying an amount for those two items for any other reason??

The calculator we are using can be found at :

Louisiana Child Support Calculator - AllLaw.com (http://www.alllaw.com/calculators/childsupport/louisiana/)

Thanks!!

Yes if your paying a premium for health insurance then enter it. And also any daycare expenses you currently have. Also keep in mind that the calculator assumes the noncustodial parent has 0% time with the child / children. Also you may need to find out what the laws of your state are and how they apply to custody. In some states its only if the child spends the night that it counts. Also you need to decide on holidays, Birthdays etc. Good Luck
