Hey! I'm 15 and I want to get my tongue pierced. Do you have any ideas how to convince my parents?? And even though I'm 15 and I go to get it done will they do it if the parent is there?

All you have to do is simply ask -- they will either say yes or no.

You have to give things to get things in return. Give them good grades, they might give you the piercing. Give them correct and consistently done chores, they may give you the piercing. If they say flat out, no, don't push the issue and wait until you are of age.

If they agree, it depends on where you live as to whether you can get the piercing or not. Some states don't care as long as you have parental consent, some say you have to be 16 with parental consent. It all depends on where you live. Hey, I am 15 & I got mine done YESTERDAY... 2/13/08... I am turing 16 in like 20 OR some days... It didn't REALLY hurt... BUT... This was my B-Day gift from Mom...
So, all u can do is ASK if they SAY no then it is NO... BUT... Be REALLY REALLY good for a while & then ask them... You may get it... BUT... I wish u the BEST of LUCK...

I was 14 when I got myn dne, it doesn't hurt but I had to go on 24/7 (kwite literally) for about 8 months until my dad finally said yes only to shut me up lol.
I could have gne behind his back, but honestly, that isn't the way to do it, and plus if it gets all infected your parents will be very mad at u, but that's not the point.
And it all depends on where you live, england you can do it at 14 as long as you sign this thing. So yeah good luck!
