Hi there, I REALLY need some guidance with this, I`m trying to remove the old shower head in our shower as the last one broke and it is difficult to take a shower while holding the head and hose at the same time, which went well until I got to the piece that connects from the wall to the shower head, I just cannot get it to budge and I've even tried using a pipe wrench to no avail and the wife is screaming at me because she can`t take a shower properly!
I thank you for your help? Thanks in advance :)

Not sure what you are trying to remove. Are you trying to remove the shower arn, that piece of bent chrome pipe coming out of the wall? A pipe wrench should remove that quite easily although it will scar the finish. Are you turning the correct direction? Righty tighty, lefty loosey.

I know you tried with a wrench... but I am afraid that is the only answer that will work. Get a bigger wrench... hold against yourself (hold shower arm at end) with your free hand and just go for it with that wrench. You have no other choice... makes a snapo sound when comes loose... but this will do it.
OR.. it will snap off. This happens too... but have no choice but to do what I said... and then see what happens. Let us know if breaks off... will talk you through fixing that. IF my answer helped, please RATE THIS ANSWER by clicking on button below. Thank you.

Like Massplumber sez, "a bigger wrench"! Since the chrome shower arm's secured by a threaded brass drop eared ell. This means no rust so get some muscle and crank that sucker out of there. Regards, Tom
