Hi... my 97 4 cly honda drifts back a little on a small hill or incline if I let off the brake... sometninbg loose or wore out... when I let off the brake to go forward if I don't hit the gas right away it ll drife back a little... tks... I think it may be a drive train proublen... week transmission punp holding it in geer? Week tourk converter?

Universal joints, or free play in rear end would be good start, would have to lift wheels off ground, turn wheel(tire) one way, note driveshaft, turn drive shaft other direction and watch drive shaft to move. Also move drive shaft back and forth to check both U Joints.

Have your brakes checked if you want some piece of mind about this.
