I’ve adopted a puppy and she was great. 12 weeks old, obedient, sit, stay, potty outside, everything was great. Now we are about 16 weeks old and peeing in her crate, peeing in the kitchen, on her blanket, on people. I took her outside to potty she went and came into the house to pee on a friend.? She went to being a wonderful little girl, to an unwanted stress ball. I love her dearly, but don’t know why she would just go from good to bad in a short period.

HELP!

Take her to the vet it may be a UTI. A phyiscal problem needs to be ruled out first. Please no yelling or spanking her this will only make things worse

I will make an appointment Monday. As for yelling and spanking… She is my only little girl and I couldn’t bring myself to yell or spank. She is like a child to me. So I’m patient with her. I just tell her no and bring her back outside. In an odd way I hope she has a UTI issue then I know it will be fixed quickly. I don’t want her sick (don’t get me wrong) I just hope it’s not behavioral.

Well even if it is behavorial you can still work on it in a loving manner. I truly believe that they want to only please us. It is so nice to hear that she will never have to be afraid of you.

No chance. I had a Chocolate lab years ago and he was the greatest joy in my life. Now this little girl has entered the family and has center stage. I just haven't had a puppy revert on me this way. I was hoping someone would be able to say “do this and poof... " We are lucky as I was able to work from home for 4 months while she is growing. I think like a human child they need more attention early on and I am able to give it to her.
Thanks for the words of encouragement. I will see Monday if she has a bladder infection.
