I just received a court summons to give testimony from a juvenile court. What does that mean? I am age 24 at the moment, could this letter be for another person? I don't know what the case is about. It does not tell me on the letter. If anyone has any information, please help me out. Should I go to a lawyer? I have no clue what this is about.

Someone who thinks you can give witness has given your name to testify, bear witness, etc. in court. Phone the courthouse, there will be a number. If you have been summoned, then you have to appear. There must be more information on the summons saying who the plaintiff is.

Well the state of interest is someone named Kody XXXXX. I don't know who this person is or even have the slightest clue. I will call the courthouse. Is there anyway I can find more information regarding this issue? I never been summoned before so any help/advice would be appreciated.

Yes in the end, no matter if you knew them or not, you have to go when you get a summons.
