When upgrading my furnace is the replacement of all of the ducting from R4.2 to R8, if duct size is adequate, worthwhile? Also any thoughts on the quality of 3 ton 95% Goodman furnaces?

In some areas the upgrade of the duct is required for energy savings.
It will cost first but there will be additional savings so if you can afford it I would do it.
