Can anyone help me - I have a 1992 Toyota MR2 which is an import - When I start it - it runs for a few minutes - then cuts out - when I try to start it again - it won't .
If I leave it for a few hours it does the same thing again.
I thought it was the distributer so I changed that - but still no joy
I would be grateful for any suggestions cheers

Here's a fella from Maryland that found a fix for his '91. Could be you too.

"Thank you fellas for the info, all of it was GREAT ! In the engine compartment, relay block that houses the EFI fuse is fed by one black /red trace wire that is spliced into another black/ red wire, that supplies voltage to the relay's Inside the wiring harness, RIGHT BELOW the vacuum resivoir & ubderneath the the cooling system recovery bottle hose, the wiring harness was full of engine coolant residue & very moist thus corroding & severing that internal splice, I removed all components that blocked access, opened harness, brake cleaned all wires re-spliced new section of wire, and made harness modifaction so it don't hold ant liquids. Done deal started right up ! & MIL illumnation on dash ! jsut like it's susposed to! Thank you all that helped me ! JOE"

Make sure you're not losing your 'check engine' light when it fails to start, gabrile.
If so, then your fuel injection is shuting down and it's going to be in the EFI circuit.
Could possibly be a bad pump. Take a pressure test.
