I got married in Mississippi in 2004 , I forgot to file the marriage certificate which I have found recently lol after unpacking from another move . I was wondering am I still married? If I never filed the certificate with the court's would the pastor do it or was I suppose to? I'm confused and flustered over this any help would be great!! Thank you!!

The pastor or whoever married you should have filed this. Check to see if the pastor actually signed this. If he did not sign it I would suggest you call him up and tell him about not signing it. Then when he does sign it, forward it to the proper county where you got married so it can be properly recorded.

You are still married regardless. Just a small technicality to make it legal with the state.
