If you want her in your life, don't divorce her.
If you don't want her in your life, divorce her.
Only you know the circumstances and what is best - I am always troubled when someone knowingly marries a person with problems like these and down the road quotes those same problems as reasons the person he married is terrible. Well, perhaps you didn't know.
If you are that concerned about her mental health, drag her to a Physician for other or additional treatment.
Only you know if you're a bad person for wanting to divorce her or not -

If you want her in your life, don't divorce her.
If you don't want her in your life, divorce her.
Exactly!;)

Usually engineers are extremely level headed people. You have given her a wonderful life and she's not been able to see that. You say her own parents don't want anything to do with her. She appears to have been an irresponsible person for years. You have given her money to leave. Logically thinking here - you are not being a bad person to divorce her. Some people just can't be reached no matter how hard you try. Stop beating yourself up over her and move on. I am sure that there is a wonderful woman waiting for you out there would truly will appreciate all the things you have to offer.

Thought it over - should this be on other than the legal thread? No legal advice asked for here.
