I am the manager of a business that has changed over to a corporation a year ago, and have been manager since it opened just 2 1/2 years ago. I make a salary of $1500 (gross) per month. I made an additional bonus for the first year and a half, but last year he decided he didn't want to pay them anymore, not due to anything I did wrong. When he changed the business to a corporation, he made me corporate treasurer, with no raise involved. Is there a minimum he must pay me to manage his corporation, or is just over $10/hour legal in California? (min. wage being $8)

I believe by CA law, the min salary wage ( unless they are paying you over time) is 2 times the min wage for you state.

From what I read, it would make it about 28,000 a year ( a little more)

So they can ay this as a salary but you would not be exempt from overtime so they would have to pay you overtime ( and actually legally have to for all your past years that you were not exempt.

From the one site I looked at it said 31,200.
It sounded like they may have recently changed it
