Hi I am trying to choose a DVD recorder to buy with a hard drive. And freeview. I want one where you can record something from the TV and watch another channel at the same time.

But when I look at the product information I don't know what I should be looking for to tell if it has this feature or not? Can anyone help?

Your video card and software would have to be able to do picture in picture and be able to record one of the channels, you would really need to talk to the service mgr to see if he is familiar
Off hand I really don't know
But you would be recording the program to your hard drive then have to transfer to dvd
