Do you use the primer bulb when starting it?

Are you choking the engine and leaving the choke on until the engine starts to warm up? Also, please answer KISS question.

I use the prime bulb to get it started and to keep it running. The choke is out when I start it. But when it would run and it was warm when I pushed it in, it would quit. Now it won't stay started. Except if I keep pushing the prime bulb.

Your carb needs cleaning.

Exactly. Your not using a fuel stabilizer and the fuel valve is stuck. The carb has to be taken apart and cleaned.

I dropped the bowl on my snowblower carb yesterday when it started running rough and erratic. Got enough junk out of that bowl to fill a spoon. After reassembly it started on the first pull. While you have the bowl off check the float and needle for proper opening/closing. Some times just checking the bolw flushes it.
