I took a leave from work as a teacher under the fmla, a result of stress and depression brought on while on the job. While off I sought medical help, and then decided that each time contemplated returning to the same work place I would become ill all over. I requested a transfer, but was told that no transfers would be issued (supervisor blocked this) to protect my health, I resigned citing continued health problems. I had a contract, for 07-08, now the district wants to suspend my teaching license, although I seem to have folowed fmla guidelines. My union is a joke. Can they do this?

Call the Dept of Labor wage and hour division (1-866-487-9243) they handle the FMLA problems.
