Only doing your tax return can determine that. Most likely not, you are more than likely going to write them a check.

FYI, I make sure my tax federal withholding is accurate, not designed to create a "return". A return, especially a BIG return, means "my money the government took from me interest-free and will only give it back if I demand it." Would you let your sister snag $150-200 bucks a month from your account and have to demand it back every year? Nah, you wouldn't.

My withholding is correct, and each year I write a small check, less than $500. Better than getting money back since it meant I got to keep and use all my money last year without giving free loans to the gov.
