I have a 1991 Chevy s-10 blazer 4x2 4.3 liter I went out to start my car and every thing went dead no power to anything, now before this my starter would click but would always start. If it's the problem could it have completely killed the power to the whole car? I checked the fuses but there fine, when I take out the horn fuse a buzzer comes one for about 2 secounds and dies? And if I leave the fuse out and try to start the car the buzzer comes on and dies out again only with the fuse for the horn out?any suggestions?

The battery may be dead--place it on a charger or install a new one. Clean battery terminals and connections.

Sounds just like a bad battery, have you tried to jump start ? Have you tried charging the battery.

After checking all under-hood and under-dash fuses, check the ignition switch and harness.

Check all under-dash fuses, too. Ignition harness goes from the ignition switch to the under-dash fuse/relay box.

When the battery is hooked up the red post gets hot. No power to anything when its hooked up. Not even lights nothing. Could the big metal fuses be blown or are they for something else?

Try a different battery in the car.
