HI , I was on a Business Visa in US from 30 March 2007 to 24 June 2007, all my tax and salary was paid in India. I went back to India and came back to US on 18 Aug 2007 on L1 Visa and had US Salary and paid tax here. Can you please let me know which form to fill and also I am going back to India on 8th Feb and will continue working from India.

ALL of the salary earned while in the U.S. is subject to U.S. taxes, because you have exceeded 183 days in the U.S.

You will need to file as a dual-status alien and claim a Foreign Tax Credit (Form 1116) for the taxes paid to India during the first period.
