That is what they call deadbeat dads and Judges do not sign dead beat dads rights away because they don't feel like paying. It's just not how it works. Does he have a court order to pay? Are you able to support your daughter on your own?

Of course a dead beat dad with little moral values always wants to do that.

But lucky the judges don't let that happen, and the law does not either,
Even if they let him sign over his rights, he will still have to pay his child support,

and you can all move along, if he wants no rights, he does not have to use them, his rights are just to visit and have a say in the child's life.

His obligations are to pay child support, so he can just mail you a check each month and never see the child and everyone just move on.

Let him sing that song to the Judge... Doubt if he finds any harmony with the court.

Unless you have a spouse willing to adopt the child in his place... the courts won't let the bio father sign away his rights to get out of paying child support... even if both of you agree.

If you had taken the time to read the MANY other threads on this same issue you would have learned that courts will not allow a parent to relinquish their rights to get out of paying support. Tell him, that he is partly responsible for the child being born and therefore needs to support this child.
