I don't know how to answer this question...

Suppose you roll a number cube. Which event has the same probability as P(not 1,2 or 3)?

a. P(3 or 4)
b. P(less than 5)
c. P(more than 4)
d. P(not an odd number)
e. Not here

I figured it was 1/2 but when I answered e. Not here it was wrong. Can someone explain exactly how to work this problem out?

Thanks,

Taz

You were right with the 1/2. but there is a choice in the list that has a probability of 1/2.

Think about why P(not 1,2 or 3) is 1/2, then which answer has that same property.
