Hey Folks...

I have a special thermostat in which I need to connect the common line, "C" in order to power this thing.

Where can I get a connection to "Common" in this older furnace?

See attached

Many many thanks!
Brian

The terminal marke "C" there is also "G", "W", "R" and "Y" correct? The next problem is if you only have 4 wires to stat and you need 5. Maybe you need another thermostat that is either power robbing or battery powered.

Thanks! But, I don't see one labeled "C"... did I just miss it? Is it the terminal with the two large orange wires, blue wire, and green wire all connected at the same point?

No worries, we've done quite a few installs before, but we have not yet installed one on such an older furnace. There's an unconnected blue or black wire we can use going to the stat.

Thanks again.

Blow the dust off it and you might find the C terminal. LOL
