A friend has asked me to babysit her 7 year old and 5 year old for the summer. It would be eight hours a day, five days a week, me feeding them lunch. How much do I charge her for the week?:)

At the very very minimum N0 less than $120. A week.
I am not good at maxium amount cause I am always worried about the other person managing.

No less than $2.50 an hour - not counting the meals. I would figure you are not just going to feed the children lunch but also at least one snack, if not two.

Check with your local Social Services, who licenses day cares and ask what you would need to do. You may not need to be licensed, since this will only be for the Summer. But if you do get licensed, you will be eligible for the nutrition program (which compensates for some of the food costs).
