If using Internet Explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options.
With the General tab clicked, click the Delete Cookies Button.
Wa-la!
If not using Internet Explorer, please let us know what you're using.

There's two easy ways.
1/ in Internet Explorer:
Tools > internet options > delete cookies button on general tab.
2/ CCleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/);
An excellent little app that clears all the rubbish temp files and general unneeded stuff from your computer, including cookies, temp internet files etc.
Hope this helps

Cookies have gotten an unfairly maligned rep. Cookies are small text files that some sites leave to customize the site when you return. While some abuse has happened most cookies are harmless. Deleting cookies could cause problems if you try to retrun to that site. I would only delete cookies from sites I'm not familiar with.

In the Documents and Settings folder under each individual user is a Cookies folder. Cookies are identified by the user name and domain name. Just delete the domains you don't trust.

With CCleaner, as mentioned earlier, you can choose which cookies to keep.
Just open the options menu and they are all listed there.
As Scott suggested its best to keep some, namely the ones for sites that are password protected, like this one, otherwise you'll have to enter your user information every time you visit.

Hi,
I agree with Curlyben about using Ccleaner.
I use it. It's free, and with just 2 clicks, cleans out cookies, history, URL's, temp files no longer needed, junk files, and even cleans some Registry entries no longer needed.
You can set what cookies you want to keep, with the Options icon in the cleaner. It does it all.
Best of luck.

If you are referring to the CClearner mentioned in previous responses you have to download it from the links provided.

Hi, Tbone,
http://www.ccleaner.com
Go to the above site, and click on the link to Download Ccleaner. Download it to a place you can find it, such as My Documents, or even My Downloads.
After it finishes, left double click on the file to start the install.
It will leave an icon on your desktop, then all you have to do is open it, click on the Run Cleaner icon, then exit. Best of luck.
