I have recently misplaced my son's social security card. I need his number to get him on chip and I would like to get him a new card. Anyone have any ideas what company or number I should call to get info on how to replace his card. We are located in PA

You will need to go in person to your local Social Security Office, fill out their forms, and they will mail you a new card within 5-6 business days. Be sure to take along the child's birth certificate and your I.D. as well. If he is older, say over 12, you can bring him along to sign any forms also. Don't bother calling as they will not do this over the phone - in person only. I know from experience in person only.

And if you merely need the number, look at last year taxes, it will be on the form
