For the past week I have been having brown discharge once heavy but now it has settled down but is still brown. I am due a period round about now but have not had one even though I am on the pill and would usually have one now. I have not experienced any pain but am worried that it could be serious as I have never had it like this before and for this amount of time. Have you any ideas on what this could be or what could be causing this? :confused:

Go see your dr asap it may be something wrong

I read an article on this and they said not to be too worried, it's normal for some people. However, you should just check with your doc anyway.

I usually get a brown discharge the last day of my period. Have had periods where it was only a brown discharge, my doctor said everything was okay but didn't give a decent explanation. Get it checked, it's probably normal and everything is okay but better safe that sorry.
