I want to know how to graph a inequality

F(x) = 3x + 2

First off, this is not an inequality, but the process starts the same.

Pick a few values for x, solve the equation for the X values. The plot the "equality" for the given line.

Now pick a point not on the line, replace the X and Y in the inequality with that point. If the result is true, that side of the line satisfies the inequality, otherwise the other side does.

Look again at the original inequality, if it is either < or >, the original line will not be included in the solution. If it is =, the original line is part of the solution.

Solving Systems by Substitution
Solve each system by substitution. Check your answer

{y=x - 2
{y=4x = 1

texans1977, you will usually get quicker answers, and less confusing threads if you post your question in it's own thread.
