I'm permi, I have been getting a pounding noise like a pulse in my head since Monday of this week, and I have never had this condition in my life. I'm 42 and I'm afraid it might be a blocked artery from what I have read from other peoples experience. It is driving me mad and it is really frustrating and annoying I went to see my GP who is making a referral for me to see a neurologist next week and I will be having an x-ray tomorrow on my neck and head.

I'm very worried I'm a social worker my dad is very ill and I lost my sister back in 2006 and I have been under a lot of stress.

does anyone have any idea why this has happened to me, I would be so grateful to get any sort of feed back, as whilst I am typing this it is pounding in my head and I feel like I'm going insane. Please help, thank you for speedy response
