I am ready to make my connections to my 100 amp GE subpanel in my attached garage. I'm pretty sure I'm on the right track, but wanted some clarification.
I have a # 2 aluminum (2-2-2-4) SER cable feeding the subpanel from my 200 amp main service.
The GE 100 amp panel came with a ground bar already attached to the can. My question is, can I just remove this equipment ground bar since I'm using this as a sub panel? I would also remove the neutral crossbar. Then I can use one side of the bus bar for an insulated neutral and the other for an insulated ground?
Like I said, I'm pretty sure this is accurate, but want to make sure before I proceed.
Thanks in advance for your help.
