My husband rescued a puppy last night, I am not sure how many weeks the puppy has,
How can I tell how old is the puppy.
I was holding the puppy and noticed a black flee on its head not sure how to get rid of the problem. Please help I have a 4 year old that's in love with the puppy and wants to pet the puppy. Puppy looks like a PUG.

Without knowing how old the pup is, I can't really recommend any particular flea treatment. Some of the best ones are too strong for a young puppy to handle. However, I will recommend that you get the puppy to a vet for an initial check. The vet will be able to tell you how old the pup is, how to treat the fleas, most likely need to treat for worms, let you know what sort of vaccinations you need to keep the pup healthy, and tell you about how long it will be until the pup can be neutered. Ask your friends and coworkers which vet they use, and how well they like the vet.
