I hope someone can help. I met a girl on holiday and her friend and they are really nice girls and we've kept in touch through email. I'd really like to ask the girl I really like if she would go out with me but I don't want to jeopardise a friendship. She lives up north while I'm down south. The distance is not a problem to me as I really like her.how should I go about it? I've been thinking about it for weeks now. I don't know whether to ask her friend if I should or just ask her outright. I wanted to send her some flowers for valentine's day. Please help

The distance may not bother you, but may be a big deal to her. I would ask anyway though, and see what happens.

I would get to know her even more before taking things to the next level, thataway your friendship will (or should be) strong enough to withstand the results of asking her out.
As you get to know her even better, you will find out whether the distance will bother her, as well as plenty of other important details that will lead to the relationship being even stronger and more true.
However, if you must ask her out now, do not ask her friend. Us women really despise it when a guy cannot ask us out face-to-face and have to ask one of our friends. It means so much more and we are more apt to believe it coming from you.
Take your time and see what happens - I would not "jump the gun," as they say.
