My upright freezer has a lot of rust spots on top that looks unsightly.

Any suggestions on what I can put on top of it to cover that won't cause it to sweat, etc. would be appreciated.

The best thing is appliance paint. It comes in a spray can. Lightly sand the top, especially where there is rust. You can get it a most paint stores or home improvement stores or try onecoat.com (http://www.onecoat.com) and Appliance-warehouse Com (http://www.appliance-warehouse.com)
