I have only began to have (somewhat) normal periods. I was a long distance runner in high school and quit having periods around the age of 16. I had maybe 5 random periods in the following years. The extreme training ended after high school, though began bulimic and eating disordered behavior. I pretty much went without periods until about 6 months ago, when I began having them on a daily basis. Well, (because of the periods I have been having recently) I think I'm about due.. I've missed the last 2 months.
I know this is unhealthy, but what are the long-term problems that could be associated with this.. I'm 28 years old now

It might be difficult to become pregnant later. If you decide you want to. But you really need to be seeing a doctor about this.
