My girlfriend has been on her period for more then 2 months and it has only stopped for 2 days in between. She has gone to see many Doctors and she has even done an ultrasound. She was told that she has a pulup in her uterus and that she is a risk factor 8.. thats all they told her and said that someone will call her in a couple of months... does she have to bleed for 2 more months before someone calls her... what is a risk factor 8? Something to do with clotting I'm assuming. Can no Dr. give her a straight answer... do they even know what the heck is going on with her?

Your girlfriend needs to become more aggressive with her diagnosis. Advise her to call her doctor and arrange for an appointment to discuss her concerns.. waiting 2months is unacceptable. Write down all your questions/concerns before going so that you can get all the answer she needs. She should also consider getting a second opinion from another doctor.
